Adele Brown

Adele Brown , of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully at home with her children at her side on Friday, February 9, 2018.   She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on September 22, 1935, the daughter of the late Vincent and Lottie [Kapelka] Wasiewicz.

Mrs. Brown graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was an administrative assistant with various companies in Niagara Falls and later became the secretary to the Park Manager with the New York State Parks Department  for over 15 years, retiring in 2008.

She loved attending her grandchildren's events and enjoyed taking care of her lawn and gardens. 

Mrs. Brown was the wife of the late Thomas H. Brown, who passed away in 1971.    She is survived by a son Kenneth D. (MaryRuth) Brown, a daughter Barbara J. (Russell) Goeseke, four grandchildren Erin, Daniel and Emily Brown and Melissa Goeseke, also several nieces  and nephews.    Mrs. Brown was the sister of the late Irene Barber-Prygon.

Her family will be present on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00   AM, with the Rev. Ivan Skenderovic officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined.

Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
