Anthony Giove Obituary

Of Niagara Falls, NY passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 23, 1924, the son of the late Antonio and Mary (Cubello) Giove.

Mr. Giove obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Buffalo and later attended Columbia University where he obtained his Masters degree in Business. He was a long time employee of the City of Niagara Falls, retiring as the Budget Director.

Mr. Giove served in the US Army and National Guard. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid San Francisco Giants fan.

Mr. Giove is survived by his wife Mandarin (Santoro) Giove of 45 years, son Rodney (Shannon) Giove, daughter Romany Giove, grandsons Jaxon and Brixton Giove, one niece and seven nephews. He was the brother of the late Frank (Paulette) Giove and Lucille (Henry) Jasek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 9:30 AM at St. Mary of the Cataract, 259 4th St, Niagara Falls, NY 14303.

Entombment with Military Honors in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

Memorials in his name may be made to Niagara Hospice House.
