Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on July 4, 2017. She was born in Buffalo, NY on January 23, 1940, daughter of the late John R. and Grace R. [Tinklepaugh] Coleman.

She is survived by her husband Robert F. Banas, Sr., mother of the late Wendy M. Banas, survived by her children Robert F. Banas, Jr. and Graceanne (Mark) Jordan, grandchildren Theresa, Christopher and Courtney Campbell and Brandon Barry, great-grandchildren Olivia McKenzie, Carter Campbell, Connor Campbell and Aedan Rynkowski.

Barbara graduated from Mt. St. Mary's in 1957.  She was a devout Catholic, proud of her Irish heritage.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 12:00 PM at the Catholic Campus Ministry Center (Newman Center), 495 Skinnersville Rd., Amherst, NY, with Rev. Msgr. J. Patrick Keleher officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Disabled American Veterans.
