Of Sanborn, NY passed away Monday, January 8, 2018. She was born in Rochester, PA on May 11, 1946, the daughter of the late Donald and Gertrude (Dixon) McCready.

Mrs. Thompson served in the US Navy in St. Albans' Hospital Long Island, NY.    She graduated from Niagara County Community  College and then from University at Buffalo with a B.A. in Nursing.  She was employed with St. Mary's Hospital and Niagara Hospice until her retirement.

She enjoyed reading, quilting, boating and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband Edward George Thompson, daughter Lisa A. (John) Gebauer, son Edward G. (Stephannie) Thompson, III, grandchildren Megan Gebauer, sister Joyce (Larry) Martin and several nieces and nephews.     She was the sister of the late Doanld McCready and late Donna (John) Saxon. 

A Private Mass was held at the convenience of the family. 

Memorials in her name may be made to Niagara Hospice.
