Celestine Taylor Obituary
Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away April 14, 2018. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 26, 1939, the daughter of the late Turner and Inez [Atkins] Mathis.
Mrs. Taylor was a nurse at NFMMC for 30 years until her retirement. She enjoyed dressing up, telling jokes and spending time with her family. Celest will be remembered for her happy spirit.
Mrs. Taylor was the wife of the late Walter M. Taylor. She is survived by three grandchildren LaRonda (fiancée Roderick) Hill, Angela A. (Jonnie) Davis and Anderson Hill, III, three great grandchildren Daysjuan Hill, Johnnie Davis, III and Imari Davis, sisters Christine (Robert), Ernestine (Donald), Gloria (Robert), Irving (Robbicyne) Willie (Lynn), and Vincent, daughter-in- law Lee Ester, many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Anderson Hill, Jr. and sister of the late Turner (Barbara) Mathis.
The family will be present on Wednesday, from 11-12:00 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, followed by funeral services at 12:00 PM, with the Rev. Charles Searcy officiating.
Interment at Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
