Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away February 15, 2017.

He was born in Scranton, PA on December 11, 1927, the son of the late Gerald and Catherine [McAndrew] Mangan.

Mr. Mangan came to Niagara Falls with his family as a child. He graduated from St. Mary's High School and from the Fordham University College of Pharmacy.

He was a pharmacist and owner of the Strand Drug Store for over 50 years, before retiring.

Mr. Mangan enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and going to dinner with them.He was an avid sportsman and photographer and was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the 3F Club, the St. Catharines Club and Club Lorelei.

He was the husband of 53 years to the late Yvonne (Poirier) Mangan, who passed away in September of 2012.

Mr. Mangan is survived by his children Jerry Mangan, Michele (Bernie) Bauman, Yvonne (Richard) DeMarco, and Renetta Rolling, ten grandchildren, John, Michele, Sherri and George Bauman, Jessica, Jennifer and Richard DeMarco, Jerry, Patrick and Tim Rolling and was the brother in law of Joan, Louise and Judy Mangan, he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late George Mangan and brother of the late Dr. William and Thomas Mangan.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Parish, 3831 Macklem Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Ivan Skenderovic officiating.

Inurnment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
