71, of Lockport, NY, passed away quietly on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his immediate family, his wife Pat, his daughters Julie (Harvey) Ausman and Jennifer (Gary Bell) Young and his brother Gary Young. He is also survived by  two granddaughters Sarah Ausman and Elaine Ausman and a brother Wayne Young.

He will be missed by the many who called him husband, father, friend, Uncle and Grandpa. Per his request, there will be no funeral with a celebration of his life planned for a later date.

Memorials may be made in his name to the Gates Vascular Institute, the American Heart Association or Patriot Paws (service dogs for veterans).
