Formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017, in Georgetown, TX.
She was born in Lewiston, NY, on January 5, 1916, a daughter of the late Eligio and Generosa [Spadorcia] Sandonato.

Margaret enjoyed reading and passing along the information she gathered from newspapers and books.
She was a great Italian cook, her cookies and cream puffs are still a family tradition. Margaret had lived the last nine years with her daughter in Sugar Land, TX and spent her final days in Round Rock, TX. She was the wife of the late Paul  DeSimone, who passed away in 1961.

Margaret is survived by her son Frank DeSimone and daughter Margie (Ron) Grier, seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Bea DeSimone and the sister of three late sisters and three late brothers.

Her family will be present on Friday from 10-11:00 AM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Stewart M. Lindsay, OSFS officiating.

Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
