Margaret C. Dean

of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, NY.    She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on January 28, 1928, the daughter of Ricardo and Consuelo Martinez.

Mrs. Dean moved to Niagara Falls with her family as a child and graduated from Niagara Falls High School.

She volunteered at Mt. St. Mary's Hospital for over 20 years.

Mrs. Dean loved spending time and taking care of her family.

She was the wife of the late Douglas F. Dean, Sr., who passed away in March of 1988.

Mrs. Dean is survived by a daughter Deborah (Timothy) Bobo, a son Douglas F. (Eugenia) Dean, a son-in-law Nelson (Susan Lewis) Zakia, six grandchildren Heather (Andrew) Bender, Jason (Elizabeth) Zakia, Justin (Helene) Zakia, Erin (Daniel) Rouse, Kathryn (Andrew) Hansen and Kyle Dean, also eleven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her dog Maggie.   

She was the mother of the late Denise Zakia, sister of the late Tino and Manual Martinez and Esther Gonzalez and the long time companion of 24 years of the late Samuel Capolupo.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY, with Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating.

Entombment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
