Of Niagara Falls, NY passed away February 1, 2017 at her home under the care of Niagara Hospice. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on May 8, 1947, the daughter of the late William and Emma [Sullivan] Brenseke.

Mrs. O'Connor was employed as a guidance counselor for the Wilson Central School District. She also worked at the library, enjoyed reading, listening to music and knitting.

Mary is survived by her husband Michael J. O'Connor of 38 years, children Ryan J. (Samantha Kerfoot) O'Connor, Colleen M. O'Connor and Timothy P. O'Connor, grandchildren Breanna and Ava Shimmel and Evan O'Connor. She was the sister of the late John (Nancy) Brenseke.
