Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on  Monday, March 20, 2017, at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence. 

She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 4, 1914, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Brew) Stack.

Mrs. Southwood graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She was a supervisor at Moore Business Forms for over 25 years before retiring from the Research Department.
Mrs. Southwood enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, gardening and her pets.
 
She was the wife of the late George R. Southwood, who died in May of 1977.
Mrs. Southwood is  survived by two sons Richard (Paula) Southwood and Michael (Tecia) Southwood, four grandchildren Richard Southwood, Meghan (Laurence) Hopkins, Erica Southwood and Ian (Sean Hayden) Southwood, ex daughter in law Carole Southwood, four great grandchildren Colin, Luke, Ava, Ana and Wil, one brother Thomas Stack, also many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Jack Stack, Nancy Allen, Lorraine Stack and Margaret Saxe.

Her family will be present on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, followed by a  Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church,459 Fourth Street,  Niagara Falls, NY, with Rev. Jacek P. Mazur officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity will be appreciated.

Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
