Message from Bruce Lederhouse, Wilson Class of 1957

Dear Family of Monica Woodworth (as I knew her). I've only just heard of Monica's passing, and coincidentally I was thinking of her only yesterday. We were "piano buddies" at Wilson Central, notably working together providing piano accompaniments for the needs of Mrs. Hurlburt, a sometimes daunting task! We were friends, tho' didn't stay in touch after graduation. We did both attend our class's 50th reunion , and visited a bit then.
This comes to you with affection for one who clearly was cherished by you all.

Our sincere condolences from the Sanborn Area Historical Society to the family of Monica Briggs. Monica is best remembered during her tenure as a member of our board of trustees from 2002 through 2005 where she helped with the display of artifacts in our schoolhouse museum and other tasks when asked. One of the tasks that she took upon herself when the societies funding was short was to secure $600 in donations to put our donated 100 year-old pump organ back in operation. The organ is still played with Christmas carols during our annual Christmas party at the schoolhouse museum where many of us went to school.
