Of Bergholtz, NY, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Rosa Coplon Jewish Home, Amherst, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on November 12, 1937, a daughter of the late Francis and Katherine [Delicate] Golda. 

Mrs. Currie attended St. Stanislaus School, Gaskill and graduated from Niagara Falls High School, She was a hairdresser for several years. Mrs. Currie was a member of the Bergholtz Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family. 

Mrs. Currie was the wife of the late Kenneth Currie, who passed away on April of 2015. She is survived by a son Kenneth (Brenda) Currie, a daughter Kelly (Bob) Davis, three grandchildren Jenna (Ben) Mueller, Justin and Kayla (fiancée Brendan Altman-Cosgove) Currie, a great granddaughter Madison Altman-Cosgrove, a brother Stanley(Lorraine) Golda, also many nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Currie was the sister of the late John, Alfred, Sophia Golda, Adele Patricko and Josephine Kott. 

Her family will be present on Tuesday from 10-11 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Parish at Prince of Peace Church, 1055 North Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Robert S. Hughson officiating. 

Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice.
