Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at his home under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. He was born in Tower Hill, PA, on July 2, 1928.

Mr. Bukovscak served with the US Army, during World War II and the Korean War. After the service he moved to Buffalo, NY. He became a millwright at the Chevrolet Engine Plant for 25 years, before retiring in 1983. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Bukovscak enjoyed gardening, listening to country western music, especially Johnny Cash and watching old John Wayne westerns.

He was the husband of the late Loretta J. [Kopania] Bukovscak, who passed away in September of 2011. Mr. Bukovscak is survived by one son Robert (Roni) Bukovscak, two daughters Sandra Gamble and Pamela (Patrick) Hearn, three grandchildren Jennifer Torrellas, Maggie and Brandon Bukovscak, three great grandchildren Makayla, Roman and Carmello.

His family will be present on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, followed by Funeral Services and Military Honors at 8:00 PM, with the Rev. Richard Delzingaro officiating.
