Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY.

He was born in Tonawanda, NY, on October 15, 1931, the son of the late Miner F. and Grace [Crimi] Wildey.

Mr. Wildey graduated from Kenmore West High School and from Bradley University in Peoria, IL.   He served in the US Navy as a dental technician at the Naval Dental School in Bethesda, MD.   Mr. Wildey was the project planner for the Linde Air Product in Tonawanda for over 30 years, before retiring in 1993.

He enjoyed being in the out of doors and spending time at his property in Cherry Creek.

Mr. Wildey is survived by his wife of 59 years Norma I. [Miller] Wildey, three sons Robert S. (Tamie), Brad (Carol) and Mark (Teri) Wildey, two daughters Sheryl (David) Fink and Mary (late Tim) Hayes, also 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.    He was the brother of the late Miner M. (Gerry) Wildey.

His family will be present on Thursday from 1-3 & 5-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating, followed by military honors.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice.
