Over 5 years late in discovering Sam's untimely passing while dining in Wheatfield today. Knew him from Gowanda Olympia - he was truly a good man and friend. My deepest sympathies and condolences to Sam's family. Never forgotten!

I just wanted to say how sorry we are to hear of Sam's passing. We used to go into the Olympia restaurant quite often especially when we first moved to Wheatfield. Unfortunately we've moved so we haven't been there in quite a while. But when we did come to eat, Sam always had a smile and kind word for us when he'd see my family. He would even come over and talk to us for a bit. He actually offered my son a job when he found out he was going to BOCES for Culinary. To Sam's family: Please accept our deepest condolences in your time of sorrow. Just know that Sam's spirit lives on his children.

I am so sorry to hear that Sam passed. I remember sitting with him and others at kostas and just talking , having a good time. I did not see Sam lately but always thought of him as a caring ,compassionate and heart of gold friend. The world lost a good man GOD BLESS

I'm so sorry for your loss, my condolences to all of the family and friends of Sam.
The Olympia Resteraunt was a staple in my home town of Gowanda, N.Y.
To hear of it's devistation by fire in May, was a shock.
To now know of this, is even more of a shock wave.
I was attending lunch with my Pastor at the Rolling Hills diner, a family friend Boris (the Owner) was a good friend of Sam's, also from Greece.
As we shared the information, we said a prayer for you all!
May the Lord, Our God, bring peace to your hearts as you go through this process.
May the memory of Sam bring rays of the most beautiful love and joy to shine down on each other of you.
May the comfort of God's hand be with you in the difficult times of the grief and may you know deeply, how much of a blessing Sam was to so many.
May Sam rest in peace

More than twenty five years ago, Sam and his family were neighbors of ours. Sam was always smiling and good to us. May you find strength from the Lord, Jesus Christ and receive comfort from the Holy Spirit.

Sam I never had the chance to meet such a wonderful person like you but through your brother Demetri one of the greatest people in the world whom I have known for many years I feel I have.
