Of the Town of Cambria, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at his home under the care of his family and Niagara Hospice. He was born in Kenmore, NY, on December 10, 1970, the son of Brian J. and Ann J. [Hemmings] Harris.

Steve graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School and RIT. He was an electrical engineer with several companies before starting his own business, Control System Services 4 years ago.

Steve was a member of the WNY Gas and Steam Engine Association, NY Steam Engine Association, Inc., the Little O Speedway, Bub's Backyard Speedway and the R and L Speedway.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of two and half years Melissa A. [Gotham] Harris and was the uncle of Skylar, Kaelyn, Jonathan, Zachary, Olivia and Audrianna, also many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

His family will be present on Saturday from 1-4 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM, with the Rev. Darlene Shearns officiating.
