Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away May 26, 2017 in Niagara Hospice House. She was born on May 31, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Edmund A. and Grace E. (Whitenight) Paul.

Mrs. Sherwood moved to Sanborn in 1952 and graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1954. She was the secretary for Low Lift, Margel Tool, Tri Steel Construction, Scranton Thruway Builders and Bickford Box for 7 years, before retiring in 1988.

She loved watching her family race and was an avid Bills fan.

She is survived by two sons Keith (Heidi Joyce) Sherwood and Curtis Sherwood, five grandchildren Jennifer (David) Preyer, Stacy (Ian) McNess, Kirk (Denise), Brandon and Kaleigh Sherwood, five great-grandchildren Jordan, Kaiden, Kam, Colton and Finn and sister-in-law Donna Valery. Mrs. Sherwood was the former wife of the late Clayton E. Sherwood.

The family will be present Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road  SANBORN, NY, with funeral services on Wednesday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.

Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice.
