Of Niagara Falls, NY passed away September 14, 2017 surrounded by her family under Hospice care. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 15, 1931, the daughter of the late Gust and Edith [Clark] Hanson.

Beverly was known for the cakes she made for special events of family and friends. She and her husband vacationed in Bermuda and spent winters in Melbourne Beach, Florida.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Charles E. Porter, Sr., her children Carolyn (George) Rutledge, Pamela (Joseph) Suszczynski, Charles (Susan) Porter, Jr., Beverly J. (Brian) Federspiel, grandchildren Jeff (Meaghan) Suszczynski, Chris (Sandy) Rutledge, Jennifer (Kevin) Caprio, Jared Porter, Cheryl Ann Suszczynski, Douglas Porter, great-grandchildren Lauren, Sarah and Jack Rutledge, Savannah and Stephanie Porter, Charlie Porter, Declan and Melina Caprio, Ben and Stevie Porter, brother Gust B. Hanson and several nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Steven C. Porter, sister of the late Frank Hanson, Claude Hanson, Pauline Hanson, Isabel Deas, Lucille Kay, Jean Wegener and Helen Chapman.

Family will be present on Sunday from 4-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 901 Cayuga St., LEWISTON, NY. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Riverdale Cemetery, 5605 Old Lewiston Rd, Lewiston, NY.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Aquarium of Niagara, 701 Whirlpool St., Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
