Claudia J. Herbold

Claudia J. Herbold of Sanborn, NY, passed away Monday, June 24, 2019, at Niagara Hospice House, Lockport,  NY.  She was born in Buffalo, NY on June 25, 1952, a daughter of the late Robert and  Norma Jean [Loos]  Wicks.

Claudia graduated from Sweet Home High School. She was employed with Ridge Road Express, Mac's Auto Parts and Buffalo Granite.

She loved making quilts and reading.

Claudia is survived by her children Thomas L.(Jennifer) and Timothy C.(Leah) Wrate,  Tami J. (Philip) Curione and Lori (Jeff) Olsen, seven grandchildren Austin, Claudia, Hannah, Bo, Owen, Collin and Luca,  a brother, William (Nancy) Wicks, two sisters, Kimberly (David) Naus and Kathy (Drew) Olds, her step mother Orrah Wicks and her long time companion William Parkhill and his children Billy and Brian, niece of  John (late Shirley) Michno and her former husband Leonard Wrate. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was the sister of the late Bobby Wicks.

Private funeral services will be held at the wishes of her family.

Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY  14094.
