Of Lewiston, NY, passed away on August 4, 2017, in Harris Hill Nursing Home.     She was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on October 31, 1928, the daughter of the late Charles and Rose [Benk] Zasucha.

She enjoyed baking, shopping and entertaining her family.

Mrs. Detyna was the wife of the late Leon Detyna, who passed away on June 30, 2010. She is survived by her son Robert Detyna, two daughters Joan Detyna and Betty (Robert) Szretter, beloved grandchildren Hannah and Noah Szretter, sister Irene Zasucha, sister-in-law Betty Noble-Zasucha, nieces Judy Ludwicki, Christine Grossman, Dina Williams, Suzanne Luzopone. She was the sister of the late Florence Ludwicki and  the late Richard Zasucha.

A Memorial Service will be held at Wednesday at 12:00 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, with Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.

Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY  14094.
