Edward James "Uncle Ed" McGraw, 84 years young, entered into eternal peace on Friday, April 5th, 2019, at Schoellkopf Nursing Home. He was born on November 24, 1934, the son of late Edward and Aurelia McGraw of Pittsburgh, PA.
Uncle Ed was a real-estate appraiser and property manager in the Buffalo area during his earlier career. This was followed by several years as a security professional in Atlanta Georgia where he received many awards for his service to his company and community.
Uncle Ed patented a children’s cursive writing tool to teach the lost art of writing to our youth.
He had a kind and gentle soul and had a loving and generous heart, always giving to others.
He is predeceased by his sister Maria A. Battaglia (McGraw) and brother James R. McGraw. Uncle Ed is survived by his sister Regina "Aunt Jean" McGraw, also many nieces and nephews.
Private Funeral Services were held at the wishes of his family.
