Of Gasport, NY, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017, at his residence. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on August 29, 1944, the son of the late Eugene P. and Marian [Patterson] Schulz.

Mr. Schulz grew up in Sanborn and graduated from Niagara Wheatfield High School. He served with the US Marines, during the Vietnam War. Mr. Schulz was a machine repairman at Harrison Radiator in Lockport for 38 years, before retiring in 2000. He enjoyed racing stock cars, classic cars, trains traveling the country and riding his bike.

He is survived by four sons David (Melanie), Daniel (Jody), Mark (Amy) and Brian (Jill) Schulz, seven grandchildren Mikaela, Lily, Sophie, Hannah, Madison, Alexandra and Jacob, his former wife Faye Olds, one brother John C. Schulz, three sisters Nancy Hilwig, Mary (Tom) Blendowski and Laura Carmer, also many nieces and nephews.

His family will be present on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 4169 Church Road, Lockport, NY, with the Rev. Robert L. Hoffman officiating.

Memorials may be made in his name to St. Peter's Church.

Interment with Military Honors in Hillside Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.
