Of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, NY.  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on August 19, 1956, the son of the late John and Gladys [Haggar] Carter.

Jeffrey attended local schools and served with the US Army from 1979 until 1987.     He was a line cook at the Jetport Restaurant for several years and later became a leak tester with Niagara Thermal for over 10 years.

Jeffrey enjoyed bowling, watching old movies and TV shows and playing with his dogs.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years Debra A. [Diehl] Carter, three sons Eric and Scott Carter and Patrick Geracitano, one daughter Sarah-Ellen Ferguson, one brother Fred (Eileen) Carter, two sisters Joan (Bill) Baylor and Elaine Varney, also five grandchildren, many nieces and  nephews.

Private funeral services were held at the wishes of his family.

Memorials may be made in his name to the Niagara SPCA.
