Shirley asked me if I wanted to speak at Momma"s funeral I told her no for 2 reasons first I didn't think I would make it through and secondly there wasn't anything I could say that everyone didn't already know all who knew her felt her love as I have always we have been friends/family for 42 years I can't remember a time we weren't family family with Papa James and all my "siblings" Shirley also asked me what brought us together other than the fact we were working together I told her "it was love at first sight" from the moment we met we had a special chemistry she was/is one of the most loving,giving,sweetest people I have ever met and through those 42 years we helped each other with many ups and downs I always knew she was/is someone I could turn to if I needed help with anything or share a special moment or event I could go on and on about our friendship,but most of you know about that too she will always be in my heart and soul until and after I see her again my life was changed forever the day I met her and the day she left us it was changed again I will never be the same without her and my sons loved her with all their hearts too the last day at the hospital that I saw her I went into the gift shop and bought a pewter butterfly that says "Friends ......Some people just touch your heart and stay there" that's Momma Jo! you are all in my thoughts and prayers God Bless and I know I will still be talking with her often,especially when I need advise and comforting and at grand events LOVE to all
