John DiLaura Obituary

John J. DiLaura of Niagara Falls, NY passed away June 5, 2019. He was born in Buffalo, NY on March 23, 1923, the son of the late Vincent and Jospehine [Giglio] DiLaura.

Mr. DiLaura was a longtime member of St. Joseph's Church.

He enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards with his DOT buddies and was an avid Yankees fan.

Mr. DiLaura was the husband of the late Elena J. [Baldisarra] DiLaura who passed away October 18, 2001, they were married for 53 years.

He is survived by his three daughters, Mary-Jo (Larrie) Dawkins, Elena [late Joseph] Bruno, Marguerite (Jack) Hicks, two sons, Ronald [Lori] DiLaura, Michael-John (Donna) DiLaura, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Samuel (Rose) DiLaura and Caroline (Clyde) Corsaro.

Family will be present Sunday from 3-7PM the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Avenue, NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00AM with Rev. Duane Klizek officiating.

Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
