John (Jack) A Brundage

September 18, 1939 ~ January 11, 2017 (age 77) 77 Years Old

Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017, in Naples Community Hospital, Naples, FL.

He was born in Rochester, NY on September 18, 1939, a son of the late Albert and Isabel [Cunningham] Brundage.

Jack attended St. Mary's School and Niagara Falls High School and served with the National Guard.

After the service, he worked at Kimberly Clark before joining his father in 1962 in the family plumbing and Roto Rooter business and in 1992, he along with his sons, became the J.A.Brundage Drain Doctor.

Jack was a very active member of the community with the Whirlpool Park Little League, the Niagara Falls Boys and Girls club where he spent his time growing up, the Knights of Columbus, the Sertoma Club and with other numerous organizations over the years. Jack and his family were members of Sacred Heart Parish and then St. Raphael's Parish.

He enjoyed attending all of his children's and grandchildren's sporting, theatrical and music performances and being with his family for Sunday dinner.

Jack will be remembered for his keen wit and one liners and his passion for hot soup and will be missed at the ball diamond.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda [Sparks] Brundage, two sons John A. (Stephanie Perry) Brundage and David (Leah) Brundage, two daughters Julie (Gregory) Brundage Lowry and Diana (Chris Nielsen) Brundage, eight grandchildren Stefan, Chantal, Madison, Justin, Victoria, Lyndijean, Mitchell and Jude, one brother Charles (Diane) Brundage, four sisters Ruth (Leonard) Smeal, Jane (Earl) Doser, Alice (late Edward) Gutschall and Mary Ann Brundage and was the brother in law of Carol (late Brian) Griesser, James (Lorraine) Sparks and Patricia(late Robert) Sparks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Lois F. Brundage and brother in law of the late Marica (Zenon) Zakrzewski. 

His family will be present Monday 4-7 PM and on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-9 PM at RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.

Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Raphael Roman Catholic Parish, 3831 Macklem Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev. Ivan Skenderovic officiating.
