Of Youngstown, NY, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Elderwood at Wheatfield. 

She was born in North Bay, Ontario on April 21, 1930 to the late James and Isabella [Thompson] McGrady.

Mrs. Batrouny moved to Scotland with her family when she was 2 years old and lived there until she was 24. She then moved to New York City where she became a nanny and later moved to  Niagara Falls in 1956.

She was employed with Nabisco Foods for 35 years, before  retiring in 1995.

Mrs. Batrouny  enjoyed  her pet cats, Scottish cookies and candy, buying gifts for her families children, listening to music, dancing, watching movies, reading, history traveling and  collected cardinals.

She was the wife of the late Samuel A. Batrouny, who died in December of 2008.    Mrs. Batrouny is survived by a brother in law Donald (Ellen) Batrouny, three sisters in law, Geraldine ( late John) Olin, Sandra (late Michael) Santoro, and Shirley (late Edward) Walaszek, and her close friends the Spagnolo Family, also many nieces and nephews.     She was the sister in law of the late Arthur and Edward Batrouny, May Batrouny and Jeanette Casciolo.

Her family will be present on Saturday from 12-2 PM, at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. Laura Norris-Buisch officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Interment in Dickersonville Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
