Marie "Arlene" Freeman of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at her home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice.
She was born in Elmira, NY, on December 12, 1922, the daughter of the late Ray Mansel and Nina Louise [Robinson] Campbell.
Mrs. Freeman moved to North Tonawanda with her husband in 1953.
She was employed as a book keeper with Thiele Dairy, Kudla Motors, Kirtland Motors and later with Comcast for many years, before retiring in 1984.
Mrs. Freeman was an active member of Hope United Methodist Church in Pekin and a senior companion with HANCI. She enjoyed gardening, swimming and playing games.
She was the wife of the late Millard C. Freeman, who passed away in May of 1978.
Mrs. Freeman in survived by one son Gary (Kelly) Freeman, three daughters Patricia Price, Nancy (Robert) Ormsby and Maureen (Richard) Biro, 11 grandchildren Dawn (James) Berg, Mel (Nik) Hogan, Linda (Erick) Lulimachi, Tereasa Freeman, Melinda (Francis) Poplawski, David (Diane) Freeman, Jason Ormsby, Rob ( Louise) Ormsby, Lindsi (Chris) Archabald, Justin (Michelle) Cannamela and Colum Moraghan, 25 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Wanda and Mabel Campbell.
Her family will be present on Sunday from 2-6 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:30 AM at Hope United Methodist Church, 2914 Upper Mountain Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Hope United Methodist Church or to Niagara Hospice.
Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, NY
