It is with great sadness and regret that the family of Marjorie "Margie" Salada announces her sudden passing on  Sunday, October 22, 2017 at the age of 55 years.   She was born in Tonawanda, NY, the daughter of Gertrude [Fleischman] Smith and the late  Terence Smith.       

Margie graduated from Cardinal O'Hara High School and Canisius College. She was employed with various stores in the area before becoming a dental assistant with the Dr. Gambacorta and Associates Dental Group for the past six years.

Margie was an avid reader and an experienced gardener. Flowers flourished under her green thumb and loving care. She enjoyed the warm weather and family vacations to Ogunquit, Maine.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 31 years Jeffrey M. Salada, three children Samantha, Jeffrey T. and  Jacob Salada, three brothers Mike (Carolyn), Ken and Dan Smith, two sisters Judy (Mike) Killian and Patty Smith and was the sister in law of Mark (Becky) Salada and Felix (late Sue Ann) Vicino, also survived by many aunts, uncles,  nieces,  nephews  and dear friends.

Her family will be present on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Church, 620 Center Street, Lewiston, NY, with Msgr. David G. LiPuma officiating.
