Ord H. Harris

Of the Town of Lewiston, NY, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. He was born on April 21, 1941 in Philipsburg, PA, the son of the late Carl and Violet [Graham] Harris.

Mr. Harris moved to Niagara Falls in 1960 and served in the US ARMY during the Vietnam war. He was employed with Washington Mills from 1969 until retiring in 2003. Mr. Harris was a member of Lewiston Fire Co. #2 and the Wheatfield American Legion.  He was an avid sportsmen and loved spending time with his grandson.

Mr. Harris is survived by his wife Sandra R. [Foshee] Harris, they were married on March 26, 1966, a daughter Kim R. (Frank) Stipkovits,  a grandson Eric Stipkovits, sisters-in-law Libby (Edward) Kwiatek and Dorothy Harris, a special niece Michelle Kwiatek, also many nieces and nephews. 

He was the brother of the late Carl, Merrill and Ann Harris.

His family will be present on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street,  LEWISTON, NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Lewiston Fire Co. #2.

Interment with Military Honors in Oakland Rural Cemetery.
