Paul C. Sullivan, Jr., of the Town of Wheatfield passed away on Monday, April 3, 2018 at his home. He was born in Buffalo, NY on January 10, 1941, a son of the late Paul C. and Elizabeth [Harrington] Sullivan, Sr.
Paul attended Canisius High School and graduated from Wisomico High School in Salisbury, Maryland. He attended Canisius College, served honorably in the US Air Force and graduated from Syracuse University.
Professionally, Paul had over a 30 year career as a sales professional in the pharmaceutical industry.
Paul was an avid sailor and Captained the "Briar Patch" and crewed on the racing boat "Bumble Bee" on Lake Ontario. He was a member of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Sailing Club where he served as the director of the junior sailing program.
"Donda" as he was called by his grandchildren, was much loved by his family and adored by his grandchildren for his quick wit and his interest and involvement in their lives.
Our memories of him will forever live in our hearts.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Joan T. [McGough] Sullivan, a daughter Maureen (Graham) Dallas, a son Paul C. (Robyn) Sullivan, III, "Donda" of Graham, Brendan, Jack and Elizabeth Dallas, Anna and Lauren Sullivan, a sister Mary Beth Sullivan, three brothers Mark (Ann), Kevin (Kate) and John (Cindy) Sullivan, also many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Thomas, James and Terrance Sullivan.
His family will be present on Saturday, April 14, 2018, from 12-2:30 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, with the Rev. James Bastian officiating, followed by military honors.
Flowers are gratefully declined, Memorials may be made in his name to the Shawnee Fire Company.
