Peggy E. Rickard

Peggy E. Rickard  who resided on the Tuscarora Nation, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019, in Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo, NY.   She was born in Bucyrus, OH, on April 19, 1956, the daughter of the late Ruby Roberts and Bruce Patrick.

Peggy loved taking care of her family and had a strong Christian Faith. She enjoyed writing letters, being in the out of doors, singing and listening to Gospel and Bluegrass music.

She is survived by her husband Arnold Rickard, four sons Justin (Cheryl) Rickard, Joshua  (Jesse) Rickard, Arnold (Tiffany) Rickard, Jr. and Micah  (Cora) Rickard, three daughters Angela (Jamey) Curtis, Sarah (Jason) Naputi and Erin (Joshua) Williams, three sisters Wanda (Mark) Etchason, Dorothy (Ed) Treft and Monya (Garry) Cline, eleven grandchildren, also many  nieces and nephews.

Peggy was the mother of the late Jesse Rickard. 

The family will be present on Saturday from  4-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at the Tuscarora Baptist Church, 2208 Mt. Hope Road, Sanborn, NY, with the Rev. Walter A. Printup and Rev. Donald A. Robinson officiating.

Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery on the Tuscarora Nation.
