Richard M. Bos

Of Lewiston, NY passed away on Sunday,  December 15, 2019, in Buffalo General Hospital  He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on January 20, 1947, the son of the late Joseph and Margaret [Ryan] Bos.

Mr. Bos graduated from Bishop Duffy High School and served with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a social counselor at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for 18 years and with Community Missions until retiring in 2002. Mr. Bos enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his dogs, playing cards and board games and was an avid Sabres and Bills fan.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Kathleen [Kurowski] Bos, three sons Steven (Leanne), James (Amy) and Thomas (Eileen) Bos, five grandchildren Mya, Olivia, Leah, Emily and Bruno, a sister Jorene (late Hank) Brummer and was the brother in law of Geraldine (Dennis) Prygon and Fred (late Betty) Shenk, his dogs Abby and Jag.   He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a brother.

His family will be present on Thursday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
