Ruth L. Klopfer of the Town of Pendleton, NY, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. She was born in Buffalo, NY on September 21, 1927, the daughter of the late Clifford and Florence [Beimler] Scott.
Mrs. Klopfer graduated from Kensington High School. She moved to Warsaw, NY in 1990 and had lived there until moving to Amherst in 2013.
She was a very active member of the United Church of Warsaw. Mrs. Klopfer enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and traveling.
Mrs. Klopfer was the wife of the late Norbert E. Klopfer, who passed away in March of 2006. She is survived by her sons Donald (Christine), Douglas ( Marcia) and Dennis (Denise) Klopfer, six grandchildren Scott (Michelle), Mark (Michelle) Klopfer, Michelle (Jeffrey) Hall, Emily (Mark) Neely, Lisa (Jarrod) Nawojski and Matthew (Jennifer) Klopfer, a brother in law Howard Klopfer, also eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Klopfer was the sister of the late Carolyn Klopfer, Lester, Richard and Clifford Scott.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's UCC at Shawnee, 3921 Mapleton Road, North Tonawanda, NY, with the Rev. Ronald Lord officiating.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
Inurnment will be in Warsaw Cemetery, Warsaw, NY.
