Stephen Hayes Obituary

Stephen H. Hayes of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on March 3, 1949, the son of Harvey and Dolores [Erb] Hayes.

Mr. Hayes graduated from Starpoint High School and was a welder with Union Carbide for 25 years before retiring.

He was a member of HOGS and the Open Arms Community Church and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Mr. Hayes was the husband of the late Sandra [Hill] Hayes, who passed away in December of 2018. He is survived by three sons Shawn (Andrea), Jay (Julie) and Clint (Kim) Hayes, five grandchildren Autumn, Marissa, Owen , Miranda (Jason Nickson) and Zachary, two great grandchildren Kelsey and Juliana, also several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hayes was the brother of the late Darlene Caswell.

His family will be present on Wednesday from 1-3 & 6-8 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Jonathan A. Hunt officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice.

Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery, Town of Pendleton, NY.
