Of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Barbara W. Keller. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on February 3, 1922, the son of the late John H. and Ruth W. (Wallace) Keller.

Mr. Keller graduated from Niagara Falls High School and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946. He married the former Barbara Wernlund in January 1946.   He worked as a licensed surveyor and professional civil engineer from 1946 until he retired in 1994.   He was an enthusiastic figure skater into his 80s, and for many years was a dedicated member of the Buffalo Skating Club.

He was a devoted and much-loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. Mr. Keller is survived by three daughters, Donna (John) Varnedoe, Sharon K. Pirinelli and Jennifer L. Keller; one son, John C. Keller; seven grandchildren, David, Jeffrey, Gregory (Lisa) and Alyssa Pirinelli, Joseph (Felisha), Thomas (Susan) deBlaquiere and Michelle Langaker; seven great-grandchildren, Riley, William, Ava, Bella, Livvy, Tessa, and Naomi. Also many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Jane Keller Jackson.

A private celebration of his life will be held by family members.
