Winston E. Lynum

Of Niagara Falls, NY passed away January 28, 2018.    He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 13, 1953, the son of Mildred L. (Smyer) Lynum and the late Edward M. Lynum.

Mr. Lynum attended the Rochester Institute of Technology. 

Winston was a generous person with a big heart who could always bring a smile to your face.     He loved people, music and loved learning new things. He also worked as a senior companion at HANCI.   He had an irrepressible joy and eagerness to explore the wonders of life that was apparent to anyone who met him, accompanied by a smile which was never far away. His knack for storytelling and showing an interest in others made every interaction with him meaningful and memorable.    He was as brilliant as he was kind and will be greatly missed by those who loved him.

Winston was the husband of the late Catherine J. (Krebbs) Lynum who passed away September 6, 1985. Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother  Warren (Connie) Lynum, Wayne Lynum, sisters Joyce Frett, Hazel Sealey and Laura Lynum, long time friend Glenda Feagan, many aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.

His family will be present Monday from 12-1 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Ontario Ave., NIAGARA FALLS, NY, where services will follow at 1 PM.
