Agnes L. Diodate peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, in Our Lady of Peace, Lewiston, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on March 11, 1926, a daughter of the late Frank and Josephine [Palumbo] Multeri.
Agnes was an excellent baker, homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and playing cards.
Above all, she centered her life around her beloved family, who will miss her greatly.
She was the wife of the late Anthony J. Diodate, who passed away in December of 2012.
Agnes is survived by her children James (Karen), Dennis (Carol Anne), Frank (Bridget) Diodate and Denise (Michael) Richardson, ten grandchildren Kara, Mark ( Lindsey) Diodate, Michelle (Chuck) Salefske, Janelle King, Rosie (Bret) Belohlav, Antonia Diodate, Kyle (Kendra), Layna and Shawna Richardson, eleven great grandchildren, a sister in law Rose Multeri, also many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Josephine (Neil) King and sister of the late Anthony (Mary) Moro, Joseph Multeri, Mary (William) Fideli, Viola (Julio) D'Elia, Lena (Charles) DeMonico and Louise (Sam) Hoover.
Her family will be present on Friday from 3-7 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 901 Cayuga Street, LEWISTON, NY.
Friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Holy Family of Jesus, Mary & Joseph Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Site, 2966 Independence Ave, Niagara Falls, NY, with the Rev. Duane R. Klizek officiating.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to the Diabetes Association.
