Of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital. He was born in London, England, on April 8, 1931 the son of the late Ellen Clement.
Mr. Attwood served with the British Army. He moved to Canada in 1956 and later to Niagara Falls, NY in December of 1959.
Mr. Attwood was an electrician with the Tonawanda Powertrain Plant for over 34 years retiring in 1993.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, traveling around the country in his Winnebago and fishing.
Mr. Attwood was the husband of 58 years to the late Joyce J. [Palmer] Attwood, who passed away in August of 2015.
He is survived by his sons Steven M. (Lynn) Attwood and Kevin R. (Tracey) Attwood, also seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, a brother Robert (late Joyce) Attwood, also many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Attwood was the brother of the late Betty (Thomas) Drake.
His family will be present on Tuesday from 1-5 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.
