Alice L. Goodman, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 17, 1932, a daughter of the late Earl and Lillian [Oryell] Crowe.
Mrs. Goodman graduated from Wilson High School in 1950 and had attended Niagara County Community College.
She lived in Newfane for over 40 years before moving to Sanborn in 1999.
Mrs. Goodman was a bus driver with Wilson Schools, employed at the Inter Community Hospital in Newfane for several years and in the office of Dr. Foucault and Brenner and later at Harrison Radiator for 20 years as a fan balancer before retiring in 1988.
She was a member of the Concordia Church and Ladies Aide, the UAW Retiree's Travel Club and enjoyed genealogy, gardening, knitting and going to the market with her vegetables.
Mrs. Goodman is survived by her husband William E. Goodman, they were married on September 19, 1953, three daughters, Dawn M. (Michael) Piette, Mary K. (Jack) Zemla and Laurie S. (Mark) Randall, a brother in law Maurice Robins and her good friend Cindy. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Jack and Robert Crowe, Mary Robins and Patricia Wright.
Private funeral services were held at the wishes of her family.
Memorials may be made in her name to the Niagara SPCA.
