Of the Town of Cambria. passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at her home under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. She was born in Bracknell, England, on October 3, 1939, the daughter of the late George and Elsie Hemmings.
Ann came to the United States with her husband Brian, on May 29, 1967.
She was the owner and operator of the Wheatfield Trading Post from 1975 to 2000.
Ann loved gardening, flowers, birds and the peacefulness of nature.
She had many collections including miniature sewing machines, antique dolls, thimbles, spoons and tea cups. Ann also enjoyed crafts of all kinds, could crochet, knit and embroider. She enjoyed steam engines, crown trains and steam shows and was a member of the WNY Gas and Steam Engine Association/Alexander and the NY Steam Engine Association/Canandaigua.
Ann is survived by her husband, Brian J. Harris, they were married April 2, 1960, her daughter in law Melissa Harris, also several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Steven and James Harris.
Private funeral services will be held at the wishes of her family.
