Anne Schimley

Anne Schimley’s decades-long dream to be with mom and dad again came true on March 6, 2023 when she passed away after a short illness. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Anthony and Mildred (O’Neill) Schimley, and sister, Maura Schimley.

Anne is survived by sisters, Mary (Tryon Lecakes) Schimley, Ellen Schimley Brooks, and brothers, Mark (Sherry) Schimley, Paul Schimley and John Schimley, nephews, David (Sabrina), Michael (Rob), Connor Schimley and Patrick Tarmy, and nieces, Kristen (Greg) Schimley Toscano, Karen (David) Sugg, Keegan Brooks, Emma and Nieve Schimley and Rachel Tarmy.   Anne loved her time with her great nieces, Madelyn, Quinn, Amora and Viviana.

With special needs, Anne lived her adult life with Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara, and now Intandem agencies, aided by several very caring and loving caregivers, for whom the family is extremely grateful.

Private burial will be held by the family and internment will be with her parents, Anthony and Mildred and sister (Maura) at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (Mausoleum) in Lewiston.
