ANNIE W. WEST

Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. She was born in Guerryton, AL, on November 12, 1938, a daughter of Lue Bennie Ray. 

Mrs. West moved to Niagara Falls in 1958. She was a cab driver with United Cab in the 1970's and later was employed with Harrison Radiator for over 25 years, before retiring. 

Mrs. West was a Foster Parent with Niagara County for many years. She enjoyed going to church, playing BINGO, the casino, watching soap operas and Life Time Movies. 

She was also a longtime member at St. John AME Church.

She was the wife of the late Willie West.

Mrs. West is survived by her by her children Dorothy (Bruce) Brundidge, Janice, Germaine (David) Anthony, Requal, Jasmaine, Lorenzo and Antwine West, a sister Shirley Bell, her Godchild Daron Bell, also a host of stepbrothers, stepsisters, stepchildren, grandchildren, great, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mrs. West was the mother of late Kathy and Mary "Pam" West, sister of the late Dollie Jessie and McKinley Battle.

Her family will be present on Wednesday from 11-12 PM at St. John's AME Church, 917 Garden Ave., Niagara Falls, NY, where Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 PM.

Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.
