Audrey Donner Shedd

Of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on  Sunday, July 9, 2023, in the Schoellkopf Health Center, Niagara Falls,  NY. She was born in Lockport, NY on January 26, 1932,    the daughter of the late Arthur and Donna [Lindsted] Donner.

Audrey graduated from Lockport High School and the Stenotype Institute of Buffalo.  She was the second woman in upstate New York to be appointed as a Supreme Court Stenographer and resided in Buffalo, until her retirement.

Audrey lived in Lewiston, NY for 35 years and was a member of the Niagara Falls Country Club, the Tatler Club and traveled extensively with her husband.

She was the wife of the late Francis W. Shedd, who passed away in December of 2006.

Audrey is survived by her stepchildren, Jonathan (Marianne) Shedd, Jennifer (Robert) DeVito, and Rebecca (Barry) Greenberg, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren,  also several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Doris Donner.

Audrey's Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 21, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Glenwood Cemetery Chapel, 325 Glenwood Avenue, Lockport, NY 14094.
