BARBARA  A. VALENTI

Of Sanborn, NY,  passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at her home, under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. She was born in Buffalo, NY on August 14, 1954,  the daughter of the late Joseph and Jessie [Gendone] Moynihan.

Mrs. Valenti grew up in Kenmore and was a home healthcare aide. She was a member of the Pekin Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Valenti loved spending time with her family  and enjoyed cooking and baking.
She was the wife of 47 years to late Russell J. Valenti, Jr., who passed away on October 16, 2020.

Mrs. Valenti is survived by children Michael (Shelli) Valenti and Kristin Valenti, five grandchildren Destanee (Ron), Anthony, Nicholas, Joseph and Daniel, two great grandchildren Ethan and Mya, two brothers  Joseph (Karen) and  Emmet (Patti) Moynihan, two sisters Peggy (Jeff Grudza) Moynihan and Mary (Jeff) LaMartina,   also many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Eileen Wert.

Her family will be present on Thursday from 4-7:30 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held ay 7:30 PM, with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the Niagara Hospice.
