Barbara J. Zimmerman

Of the Town of Wheatfield, NY, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025.  She was born in Seneca Falls, NY on August 31, 1928, a daughter of the late Louis and Elsie [Ingold] Walbert.

Mrs. Zimmerman moved with her family to Kenmore in 1932 and was a graduate of Kenmore West High School and Bryant and Stratton.  She was employed with the Town of Tonawanda as a secretary with the Town Engineer and as a clerical supervisor with Under Writers Adjusting Company.

Mrs. Zimmerman enjoyed traveling and knitting.

She is survived by her husband Herbert  L. "Lee" Zimmerman, her children Gary (Cheryl) Zimmerman, Lynn (Robert) Blickenstaff, grandchildren Dawn (James) Schwanz, Amy (Kevin) Crofts, Robert (Priscilla Bauer) Blickenstaff, seven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Zimmerman was the sister of the late Ross and Keith Fegley, Jackie Robert and Prudence Stevenson.

Everyone is invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Gregory the Great Parish, 200 St. Gregory Court, Williamsville, NY 14221.

Memorials may be made in her name to Catholic Charities.
