Betty T. McGreevy

Betty T. McGreevy of Sanborn, NY,  passed away on  Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in Niagara Hospice House, Lockport, NY.  She was born in Niagara Falls, NY,  on April 5, 1927, the daughter of the late Nickolas and Mary [Zgonce] Tymjack.

Mrs. McGreevy was a secretary with DuPont Chemical and later with the  Niagara Wheatfield School System for over 20 years before retiring.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church Altar  Rosary Society and the Sanborn Area Historical Society.

Mrs. McGreevy enjoyed drawing, gardening, reading and restoring antiques.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years Allen  McGreevy, two sons Michael (Ellen)  and Paul McGreevy, one sister Mary Kurtz, also many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McGreevy was the sister of the late Daniel Tymjack, Helen Green and Genevieve Tymjack.

Her family will be present on Sunday from 4-7 PM at The RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY.

Friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 9:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 4671 Townline Road,  Ransomville, NY, with the Rev. James R. Bastian officiating.

Memorials may be made in her name to the Immaculate Conception Church.

Interment in North Ridge Cemetery, Town of Cambria, NY.
