Beverly S. Steele

Of the Town of Wheatfield, passed away on Monday, May 27,2024, in the Erie County Medical Center.  She was born in Sardinia, NY, on April 5, 1937, the daughter of the late Millard and Frances [Newland] Hunt.

Mrs. Steele moved to Buffalo, NY with her family in 1942 and was a graduate of Cleveland Hill High School.

She was a sewing machine operator with Voyager in Sanborn for many years.

Mrs. Steele was a member of the Shawnee Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and the Niagara Clown Alley.

She was the wife of 58 years to the late Graham "Sandy" Steele, who passed away in 2015.

Mrs. Steele is survived by her children Randall G. (Jennifer) Steele and Kathleen J. Steele, three grandchildren Megan Kropp, Charlene (Joshua) Kline and Joshua Olewnik, six great grandchildren Bradley, Maiya, Nolan, Jordyn, Everett and Graham, a sister Rhoda Payne,  also several nieces and nephews.

Her family will be present on Saturday from 11-1 PM at the Destiny Christian Church, 905 College Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, with the Rev. Lou Perez officiating.

Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made in her name to Destiny Christian Church.

Interment in Acacia Park Cemetery.
