Brenda M. Daniels-Myles
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come… Her children arise and call her blessed… Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” — Proverbs 31:25–28, 31
Brenda M. Daniels-Myles, of Niagara Falls, New York, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026. Born in Niagara Falls on November 30, 1958, she was the cherished daughter of the late Bernard Daniels and Janie Bell Owens. Brenda was a proud graduate of Niagara Falls High School, Class of 1977, and went on to dedicate many years of service to The Niagara Gazette as a Mail Services Coordinator.
Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who found her greatest joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved tending to her garden, catching up on the phone with family and friends, and filling her home with the music she loved. Above all, she treasured the time spent making memories with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Her vibrant spirit, infectious laughter, and deeply loving presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Michael A. Myles, Sr.; her sons, Michael (Kendra) Myles, Jr. and Myrion “Myron” (Stephanie) Myles; and her beloved grandchildren, Dereon D. Myles, Nahj Myles, Christian Myles, Kyree Myles, and Maxim Myles. She is also survived by her siblings, Annie Owens, Anthony (Dorothy) Owens, Margie (the late Jessie) Williams, Kenny (Veronica) Daniels, Donald Daniels, Anthony Daniels, and Tina Daniels; her dear aunt, Lessie V. Lott; and a host of extended family members, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Daniels and Freddie Daniels, as well as her beloved dogs, Holly and Missy, whom she loved deeply.
Brenda’s love, warmth, and memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
